After an entertaining and refreshing week one of NFL Football, I can't wait for Week Two. Last week I was a bit off on about half of my picks rallying a total of 8 correct picks. Hopefully I will be able to rebound and nail this weeks series of matchups. This week there are bound to be more upsets, shutouts and even more amazing highlights. It's great feeling to have the NFL back into our lives.

Thursday Night Football via NFL Network
Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns (-5.5) Browns 24, Bengals 16
I honestly believe week one was a fluke for the Browns and that they can perform a lot better against a team like the Bengals. I still think this browns team has a real shot at contending for a playoff spot this season. I think they turn things around this week and play like they really should be. The Browns will be able to out score the Bengals, I feel that 6 points is manageable.
Atlanta Falcons @ Dallas Cowboys (-4.5) Falcons 31, Cowboys 28
For this game I'm going to take the Falcons and the better Quarterback to win this game. Matt Ryan played pretty well against a hard Seahawks defense and the Cowboys defense is not nearly as threatening. I still feel like the Cowboys are working things out with the new Head Coach and it is going to take a while for them to find their flow.
Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins (+5.5) Bills 27, Dolphins 13
The Bills should make quick work of the Dolphins. The Dolphins struggled against a depleted Patriots defense and they will struggle just as much against this strong Bills unit. I think the Bills will try to utilize the run game with Zach Moss and Devin Singletery to try and open things up for Allen and the gang. So I'll take the Bills to win by more than 6 points.
New York Giants @ Chicago Bears (-5.5) Bears 21, Giants 17
Although I am picking the Bears to win the game, I think it will be close and 6 points would be asking too much of me from Mitch Trubisky. I think it will be a close game from start to finish. From an odd's perspective I would take the Giants to keep the game close.
Denver Broncos @ Pittsburgh Steelers (-7.5) Steelers 24, Broncos 17
This is probably one of the hardest picks for the week. I rarely ever swallow a touchdown or higher especially this early in a season and I won't be doing so in this matchup. The Broncos should be getting back star receiver Courtland Sutton. With him back in the lineup, the Broncos offense will be able to move the ball a little bit better. Even though I have the Steelers winning this game, the spread is too high for me not to bet on the Broncos.
Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers (-6.5) Packers 31, Lions 20
I called it in the offseason that we would see a revitalization of the old Aaron Rodgers. He played his ass off last week and I expect that to roll into week 2. I think the Packers will easily win this game, so its an easy pick to swallow the touchdown for the Packers.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Tennessee Titans (-8.5) Titans 21, Jaguars 17
After last weeks miracle win for Gardener Minshew and the Jaguars, I think its ridiculous that this game has a spread of 9 points. This game will be very close, and will be on the lower end of the scoring. The Titans will win the game, but the Jaguars have something to prove and they will compete hard and keep this game close.
Minnesota Vikings @ Indianapolis Colts(-2.5) Vikings 27, Colts 21
Both these teams took tough losses in week one, but this week their can only be one winner. I like Kirk Cousins and the Vikings to win this game going into Lucas Oil Stadium. Rivers looked bad against a young Jaguars defense, and this Vikings defense is a lot better ans stronger unit. I'll take the upset and pick the Vikings.
Los Angeles Rams @ Philadelphia Eagles(+1.5) Rams 24, Eagles 21
Sean McVay and the Rams will play an efficient and methodical offensive game plan against the weak Eagles defense. Aaron Donald will give the injured Eagles Offensive Line problems all night. It just seems like this will be a game that the Rams should be able to win by more than 2 points. So I'll take the Rams both in the spread and to win the game.
San Francisco 49ers @ New York Jets(+6.5) 49ers 27, Jets 17
After a tough division loss for the 49ers, I think they will bounce back against a weak New York Jets team. Jimmy G will have a better day throwing against a very young Jets Secondary. I will swallow the 7 points and pick the 49ers to win this game.
Carolina Panthers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers(-8.5) Tampa Bay 27, Panthers 21
The fact that this game has a 9 point spread is ridiculous. Teddy Bridgewater is a good starting Quarterback that can put points up on the scoreboard. As much as I like the Buccaneers roster, this game will be a lot closer than than many other people think. Its too difficult to swallow those many points this early for the Buccs. This is the easiest pick of the week.
Washington Football Team @ Arizona Cardinals(-6.5) Cardinals 24, Football Team 20
After an impressive win for both of these teams in week one, only one can keep their winning streak alive. The Cardinals should be able to pull out the Win this week but this game will be very close. The Football Team's defense is very strong and if the offense can be potent enough to put up some points and capitalize off turnovers, they can stay in a lot of games this season. I'll give the Cardinals the win, but I'll take the Redskins to keep this game within a touchdown.
Kansas City Chiefs @ Los Angeles Chargers(+8.5) Chiefs 27, Chargers 23
The Chiefs were impressive in their first game back against the Texans. In this divisional matchup, I don't think it will be that easy. The Chargers will be doing their best to keep Mahomes on the sidelines as long as possible. The Chargers are built to beat a team like the Chiefs. The Chiefs will win, but the Chargers are the safe bet pick for me.
Baltimore Ravens @ Houston Texans(+6.5) Ravens 31, Texans 21
Lamar was electric against the Browns in week one, and I expect more of the same from him this week. Watson is one of my favorite QB's, but he simply doesn't have the team around him to compete with this strong Ravens team. I'm picking the Ravens to win the game and Cover the spread.
Sunday Night Football via NBC
New England Patriots @ Seattle Seahawks(-4.5) Seahawks 24, Patriots 21
This game will be a lot closer than one might originally think. The Patriots were very effective in running the ball last week, especially with Cam Newton. I expect to see a heavy run game on both sides to try and keep the score low. However in the end, the Seahawks will win this game, but the Patriots will keep it close enough that they will be my pick from an odd's standpoint.
Monday Night Football via ESPN
New Orleans Saints @ Las Vegas Raiders(+5.5) Raiders 34, Saints 24
Both these teams showed up big in week one with big wins. In this matchup I am going to take the Raiders this matchup. The Saints offense will have no Michael Thomas and that will be a major problem for the team. The Raiders have an offense that is capable of putting a lot of points on the board. I think this Raiders team can and will torch the Saints this weekend.
