About Me
I was born in Dublin Ireland, and moved to Philadelphia, PA when I was young. Growing up in Philadelphia I was immediately submersed within the Philly sports culture. Ever since elementary school I could talk sports all day and all night. Luckily for you I'm still the same way today. I currently am a Professional Dancer with Charlotte Ballet II, and have already begun to immerse myself within the enthusiastic Carolina sports scene.
Sports Background
Although I always have a great love for sports, I was never particularly good at any of them. I tried almost any sport one could mention, and it became clear to me that playing was not my thing. By the time I entered High School I decided to begin writing and talking about any sport with whoever and whenever I could.
Growing up in Philadelphia, one might think I naturally grew up as a fan of all sports in Philly. However, It would be fare to say I was an experimental kid when it came to my sports teams. My favorite teams growing up included the Patriots,Celtics,Penguins and Yankees. In other words I was a major bandwagon fan... But as I matured in High School, I began real my support for my local Philly teams. But I still try to keep tabs on my favorite players across the leagues.
My Ambition
My goal for this page is to gain experience within the sports literature arena. This is a page where I can express any of my opinions, thoughts and ideas regarding the sports world. Hopefully soon I will begin my own podcast and YouTube channel. I would love this to be the door that opens up opportunities for a future career in sports journalism.
